對雪 - （唐）高駢

 

六出飛花入戶時，坐看青竹變瓊枝。

如今好上高樓望，蓋盡人間惡路歧。

 

Reflecting on Snow by Gao Pian (Tang dynasty)

 

As I sit, downy flakes fly into the household,

The bamboos turn into jade, a sight to behold.

Hence, I climb up the lofty tower to survey,

Lo, all treacherous paths have vanished in the wold.
