生而不有，為而不恃，功成而弗居。

夫唯弗居，是以不去。

 

Thou begettest, yet possessest nought,

Though thou didest all, claimest honour not.

Clingest thou not unto what thou hast wrought,

In sooth, thy virtue shall ne’er be forgot...
