江南春 - 寇準

 

波渺渺，柳依依。

孤村芳草遠，

斜日杏花飛。

江南春盡離腸斷，

蘋滿汀洲人未歸。

 

Spring in the South by Kou Zhun

 

The willows wave with sigh; the river rolls on far,

Beyond the lonely hamlet the grass lies.

Apricot blooms fall neath the slanting fiery star...

Spring is spent in the south; the parting pulls my heart —

Tingzhou, duckweed-filled, wonders where you are...
