題八詠樓 – 李清照

 

千古風流八詠樓，江山留與後人愁。
水通南國三千裏，氣壓江城十四州。

 

The Eight-Chants Tower, for ages long, has stood there,

Yet its fate with the realm’s — unborn may bear the care.

The waters here, three thousand li, stretch through the South,

And its might commands fourteen states, beyond compare.
