踏破苔痕一徑斑，白雲飛處見青山。
不知浮世塵中客，幾個能知物外閑。

 

White Cloud Temple by Xu Hong (Tang Dynasty)

 

On trodden moss unfolds a dappled trail,

Where clouds drift, blue peaks now veil, now unveil.

But in the mortal world, the red-dust realm,

To taste of tranquil grace, how many fail?
