煢煢白兔，東走西顧。
衣不如新，人不如故。

 

Old Ballad of Love by Anonymous (Two Han)

 

Trudging, trudging, a poor lonely pale hare,
East she limps, at west she casts her sad glare.
Though all prefer new garments to aged wear,
With only old spouse we would as lief pair.
