馬蹄踏水亂明霞，醉袖迎風受落花。

怪見溪童出門望，鵲聲先我到山家。

 

Hermit’s Mountain Hut by Liu Yin (Yuan Dynasty)

 

My horse splashes through the creek and scatters dusk-light,

My fluttering sleeves, bewitched, meet petals in flight.

I wonder why children rush toward the stream,

O, magpies’ calls reach hermit’s hut ere I alight.
