七絕·兩根麵條 – 孟朝崗

 

本恃針芒護一清，豈料裸體入湯烹。

水深火熱終縈抱，也算今生未負卿。

(Two Strands of Noodles)

 

I trust awns-robed shall be our fated lot,

Yet stripped we are and cast into the pot—

In boiling water we twine through our life,  

And unto each other we have failed not.
