枯藤老樹昏鴉，

小橋流水人家，

古道西風瘦馬。

夕陽西下，

斷腸人在天涯。

Spent vines, crows, trees — the dusk-draped wold,

A creek, a short log-bridge, a rustic house in sunset’s hold,

The end of the earth, a horse gaunt, a trail old,

— a man heart-rent, west wind cold...
