柴米油鹽醬醋茶，般般都在別人家。

歲暮天寒無一事，竹堂寺裡看梅花。

 

Seven Daily Necessities by Tang Yin

 

Rice, firewood, salt, soy sauce, vinegar, and tea,
Each of which for others is none but daily ABC.
The year turns cold as it nears its end, yet I idle
At the Bamboo Temple, watching each plum tree.
