兩個黃鸝鳴翠柳，

一行白鷺上青天。

窗含西嶺千秋雪，

門泊東吳萬裏船。

Afore the willows, two orioles trill encore,

A score of egrets, in a row, to the blue, soar.

My panes adore the snow-capped west peaks since yore,

My door counts the sails of East Wu, moored by the shore.
