細雨侵窗寒未消，桃花帶露半含嬌。

莫言客早無人跡，古道蓑翁已上橋。

(A Sojourner’s Tale)

 

The chill still tarries as the drizzle laves each pane,

Dew-clad, to conceal half-veiled blush, peach blossoms strain.

Pray say not it’s too early to see passersby,

On that ancient bridge, an old angler squats in rain.
