Why barbaric, act so wild

The bloody incident was the result of so-called 'patriotism.' Fie! Such patriotic brainwashing would only fan the flames, making decent and level-headed individuals wonder for whose benefit... making us question whether those who hide behind the curtain are doing it on purpose...? O God wot! Well, as a matter of fact, who was kind of 'in cahoots with' the Japanese militarists back then during the Sino-Japanese War?
