曾經四海五平湖，今日蛙哀深草蕪。

三萬子衿無複再，浮雲一片晚山孤。

(The Lakes of Beike College)

 

Once upon a time, five lakes and four seas,

Where now, hiding in weeds, croaking frogs seize.

Some thirty thousand highbrows gone sans trace,

A dusk cloud shrouds the lonely hill in breeze.
