自娛自樂

蒹葭蒼蒼，
白露為霜。
所謂伊人，
在水一方。
溯洄從之，
道阻且長。
溯遊從之，
The reeds at hefty height,
On which dews like frost white.
My loved one I oft miss
Beyond th’ stream stands upright.
Upstream I would thee chase,
Yet too far for my might,
When downstream I'd thee trace,
Thou seem’st in the midstream I sight.
蒹葭萋萋，
白露未晞。
所謂伊人，
在水之湄。
溯洄從之，
道阻且躋，
溯遊從之，
宛在水中坻。
Abundant reeds here and there,
On which white dews still stare.
My loved one I oft miss
Beyond th’ brook looks so fair,
Upstream I would thee chase,
Yet too bumpy to fare,
When downstream I'd thee trace,
Thou seem’st upon the islet bare.
蒹葭采采，
白露未已。
所謂伊人，
在水之涘。
溯洄從之，
道阻且右。
溯遊從之，
宛在水中沚。
O reeds grow far and nigh,
On which white dews not dry.
My loved one I oft miss
Beyond the creek stands by;
Upstream I would thee chase,
Yet too peril to hie.
When downstream I'd thee trace,
Thou seem’st on th' sandbar I espy.
