夜還東溪   王績（唐）

 

石苔應可踐，叢枝幸易攀。

青溪歸路直，乘月夜歌還。

 

Night Trip Back to East Brook by Wang Ji (Tang dynasty)

 

The moss on stones doesn't hassle me to tread,

The branches on trees there avail my grip.

By the green creek, the path is straight ahead,

Homeward, I sing along the moonlit trip.
