窘步相仍死不前,唱醻無複見前賢。
縱橫自有淩雲筆,俯仰隨人亦可憐。

Stiff steps, they hobble, halt, and dare advance no more,
No bards now at feasts vie for noble rhymes of yore.
Bold brushes exist that could have pierced through the clouds,
But they’d fain follow suit — fie, ne’er like that before.
