九曲黃河萬裏沙，浪淘風簸自天涯。

如今直上銀河去，同到牽牛織女家。

 

A Quatrain by Liu Yu-xi

 

The Yellow River rolls with a torrent of sand,

Galloping straight up to the Milky Way so grand —

Its wind-tossed billows, sweeping nine bends from afar,

Carry me to Cowherd and Weaver’s fairy land.
