《鵲橋仙》－ 秦觀

 

纖雲弄巧，

飛星傳恨，

銀漢迢迢暗度。

金風玉露一相逢，

便勝卻人間無數。

 

柔情似水，

佳期如夢，

忍顧鵲橋歸路。

兩情若是久長時，

又豈在朝朝暮暮。

Deft clouds set the storied scenes in the blue,

Two falling stars recount their tale of grief,

On Silver Stream — where they rendezvous...

As Pearly Dew trysts Golden wind as lief —

O their romance no mortals can outdo.

 

Their tender love flows like soft streams that woo,

Ah, their tete-a-tete feels an endless dream,

Ah, how could they bear bidding Magpie Bridge adieu—

Yet if, twixt two hearts, true love holds esteem,

Why must they, day and night, their bond pursue?
