心畫心聲總失真，文章寧複見為人。
高情千古閑居賦，爭信安仁拜路塵！

What heart portrays oft betrays the real face,

How, through verse, discern we true inner grace?

That lofty “Ode”, down the ages, hath veiled —

Pan kissed dust churned by the noble wheels’ pace.
