我失驕楊君失柳，

楊柳輕颺直上重霄九。

問訊吳剛何所有，

吳剛捧出桂花酒。

寂寞嫦娥舒廣袖，

萬裏長空且為忠魂舞。

忽報人間曾伏虎，

淚飛頓作傾盆雨。

I have lost Poplar of mine, thou Willow of thine,

Their spirits soar straight unto the celestial Nine.

Wu Gang is aksed if he hath some offerings fine,

Thereby, he bringeth forth his osmanthus wine.

The lonely Chang E cometh swinging long sleeves divine,

Dancing for the faithful souls athwart the vast skies.

Suddenly, good tidings — the Tiger met demise.

At once, the joyful tears downpour from their eyes.
