題都城南莊 - 崔護

 

去年今日此門中，

人麵桃花相映紅。

人麵不知何處去，

桃花依舊笑春風。

 

A Seven-Character Quatrain by Cui Hu

 

Today last year at this door of this place,

Thy face and peach blooms did each other grace.

The pink peach blooms still smile in breeze this year,

Thy fair face hath gone without any trace.
