題袁氏別業 – 賀知章

 

主人不相識，偶坐為林泉。

莫謾愁沽酒，囊中自有錢。

 

A Quatrain by He Zhizhang

(Inscription on the Wall of Yuan’s Orchard)

 

I have not known the host in person yet,

When I chance sitting at his groves and springs.

About the wine there is no need to fret,

As in my parcel, I have taels in strings.
