A Verse by Su Shi
(All in Life is But a Long Dream)
All in life is but a long dream,
How oft could fall chill man with might?
Trees nigh the loggias moan in wind at night,
Lo, my locks grey, my brows knit tight.
Few would fain share my bitter wine,
Clouds oft cloud the moon though it's bright.
Who would share with me the Mid-Autumn-Light?
I raise cup, to the north, grief at its height.
