The morning rain in Weicheng moistened the light dusts,
Willows by the guest house are having new green colors.
I am urging you to take one more cup of wine,
Going west out of the Sunny Pass you'll find no old friends.

The morning drizzle has wet Weicheng's dusty ground,
making the green inn and willows look fresh and sound.  
Oh, dear friend, please take another cup of farewell,  as   
going westbound,  no more old friends  after Yang Pass.

The dawn drizzle clears the dust o’er Wei town;
The inn the green looks the fresh willows lend.
Pray you must one more cup of wine gulp down;
