蛇舞新春醉玉童， 年華曼妙韻無窮。

快傾美酒酬佳節， 樂繪神州一點紅。

(Happy Year of the Snake to You All)

 

The New Year’s Snake Dance brings children ecstatic fun,

O, spring, so beautiful, its charm second to none.

“Hurry, bottoms up! let’s rejoice in th’ festive time,”

Hurray, our Motherland, rouged as red as the sun.
