戲題盤石 – 王維

 

可憐盤石臨泉水，複有垂楊拂酒杯。
若道春風不解意，何因吹送落花來。

 

A Whimsical Quatrain to a Stone by Wang Wei

 

A sightly stone nestles by a rill still,

Drooping willows whisk my wine cup at will.

If the spring breeze truly lacks empathy,

How come it carries petals to this rill?
