其二

 

坐看黑雲銜猛雨，噴灑前山此獨晴。

忽驚雲雨在頭上，卻是山前晚照明。

(Rainfall at the Creek)

 

I sit beholding dark clouds pouring down fierce rain,

The rain refreshes yonder peaks while here fine and clear.

Suddenly, o’er me, the clouds burst with might and main,

Astoundingly, afore the peaks, eve-glows appear.
