七絕  若無執念 – 孟朝崗

 

若無執念在心頭，便放輕舟任泛流。

倦泊清陰聽鳥語，興邀明月醉觥籌。

 

A Quatrain by Meng Chaogang

 

If no obsession preyed on me,

I’d be like a boat sailing free,

Tired, by any tree, I’d listen to birds,

Toasting to the bright moon with glee.
