聖經中的動物

1. 蛇 （創世紀 3:1-5)

1) 在上主天主所造的一切野獸中，蛇是最狡猾的。蛇對女人說：「天主真說了，你們不可吃樂園中任何樹上的果子嗎？」

女人對蛇說：「樂園中樹上的果子，我們都可吃；隻有樂園中央那棵樹上的果子，天主說過，你們不可以吃，也不可摸，免得死亡。」

蛇對女人說：「你們決不會死! 因為天主知道，你們那天吃了這果子，你們的眼就會開了，將如同天主一樣知道善惡。」

2) 《出埃及記》中，上帝讓摩西手中的棍杖變成蛇，又從蛇變棍杖。（4:2） 

但是，埃及人的智者和術士用他們的巫術作了同樣的事。他們每人扔下自己的棍杖，也都變成了蛇，但亞郎的棍杖卻吞了他們的棍杖。（7： 12）

 

2. 烏鴉 Raven（創世紀8:6-7）

過了四十天，諾厄開了在方舟上做的窗戶，放了一隻烏鴉；烏鴉飛去又飛回，直到地上的水都幹了。

At the end of forty days Noah opened the window of the ark that he had made 7 and sent out the raven; and it went to and fro until the waters were dried up from the earth.

 

3. 鴿子 Dove （創世紀8:11）

傍晚時，那隻鴿子飛回他那裏，看，嘴裏銜著一根綠的橄欖樹枝；諾厄於是知道，水已由地上退去。

the dove came back to him in the evening, and there in its beak was a freshly plucked olive leaf

鴿子在新約，福音書裏聖靈的體現。

 

4. 斑鳩 Turtledove （創世紀15:9）

上主對他說：「你給我拿來一隻三歲的母牛，一隻三歲的母山羊，一隻三歲的公綿羊，一隻斑鳩和一隻雛鴿。」

He said to him, “Bring me a heifer three years old, a female goat three years old, a ram three years old, a turtledove, and a young pigeon.”

 

5. 野驢 wild ass（創世紀 16:12 ）

       他將來為人，像頭野驢；他要反對眾人，眾人也要反對他；他要衝著自己的眾兄弟支搭帳幕。」

       He shall be a wild ass of a man, with his hand against everyone,  and everyone's hand against him; and he shall live at odds with all his kin.”
