《越人歌》

  

今夕何夕，搴舟中流。

今日何日兮，得與王子同舟。

蒙羞被好兮，不訾詬恥 。

心幾煩而不絕兮，得知王子。

山有木兮木有枝，心悅君兮君不知。

 

A Song of Ancient Yue

 

O what a night tonight,       

I row, then I let it float.

O what a day today, it doth me delight,

The prince is cruising in my boat.

Sans disdain thou dost grace me.

So nervous I am, a prince thou art.

Trees hold many a twig, mountains many a tree,

O I fall for thee, yet thou knowest not my heart.
