故居丁香 – 餘新

 

Lilac at My Old Abode by Yu Xin

 

房前亭立，

一片幽香時破寂。

擠入窗欞，

掀起芬芳滿戶盈。

 

Afore the abode, she stands, so slender,

A wisp of her subtle scent stir the silent air,

Seeping through all sills, so tender,

Perfuming the chamber everywhere.

 

光陰遠去，

常念丁香難又聚。

夢中回鄉，

餘味猶如還繞梁。

 

Time flees, so fast, so far, all be past,

Though missing her, our reunion seems near never.

In dreams, O back home again, at last,

Her scent around the rafters still lingers ever.
