芙蓉樓送辛漸 – 王昌齡

其二

 

丹陽城南秋海陰，丹陽城北楚雲深。

高樓送客不能醉，寂寂寒江明月心。

 

Southward, Danyang, so gloomy, the autumn sea blue,
Northward, Danyang, so deep and thick, the clouds of Chu.
We drink to farewell on the tower, sober, still,
Facing the cold river, our moon-lit hearts stay true.
