茲晨戒流火，商飆早已驚。

雲天收夏色，木葉動秋聲。

 

Beginning of Autumn by Liu Yanshi (Tang Dynasty)

 

The fire fades from the dawn, today,

For fall wind cannot wait to rise.

Clouds begin to pack summer scenes away,

As leafy trees rustle with autumn cries.
