許是天公賜譯才，

淵深海闊踏歌來。

衝霄信步詩詞苑，

讚我中華大描台。（擂台）？

 

An Acrositc Quatrain by Wang Yongtai

 

Xu, a talented translator who was God-blest,

Yuan, a deep sea through which he sailed with songs best.

Chong, a leap into the divine garth of poems,

Extolled China a poetic stage with grest zest.
