菩薩蠻 黃鶴樓 – 毛潤之

 

茫茫九派流中國，沉沉一線穿南北。

煙雨莽蒼蒼，龜蛇鎖大江。

黃鶴知何去？剩有遊人處。

把酒酹滔滔，心潮逐浪高。

Rivers crisscross the heartland of China, there are nine,

Rails from the South to the North link into a line.

Misty rain veils the vast expanse,

Turtle Hill and Snake Hill lock the Yangtze divine.

Though none can tell where the Yellow Crane is now,

This place still draws people to bow.

As I raise my cup at the surging waves,

Swelling as well is my heart of vow.
