贈藥山高僧惟儼 二首 – （唐）李翱

 

其一

 

練得身形如鶴形，千株鬆下兩函經。
我來問道無餘説，雲在青霄水在瓶。

A Quatrain by Li Ao (Tang dynasty)

His practice has transformed him like a fairy crane,
Beneath myriad pines repose his cased Sutra twain.
Though I beseech his teachings, he says so little,
“Like clouds in skies, like water in jars, you'd remain!”
