終日昏昏醉夢間，

忽聞春盡強登山。

因過竹院逢僧話，

偷得浮生半日閒。

Betwixt drinks and dreams I idle my life away,

I suade my legs to tour the spring mount, as all say

“Spring soon fades out.” Passing by a monk’s bamboo grove,

His talk helps my drunk life seize half a sober day.
