葡萄樹 Vine 和葡萄園（創世紀9:20；40:9-10）

So the chief cupbearer told his dream to Joseph, and said to him, “In my dream there was a vine before me, and on the vine there were three branches. As soon as it budded, its blossoms came out and the clusters ripened into grapes.

橄欖枝 Olive Leaf （創世紀8:11）

橡樹（創世紀 12:6， 13:18，18:1, 35:8）

Allon bachuth – the oak of weeping, 哭泣的橡樹。 這棵樹應該就是第12:6中所說那棵橡樹： the oka of Moreh.

檉柳Tamarisk tree
亞巴郎在貝爾舍巴栽了一株檉柳，在那裏呼求了上主，永恒天主的名。（創世紀21:33 ）
Abraham planted a tamarisk tree in Beer-sheba, and called there on the name of the Lord, the Everlasting God.

曼陀羅 Mansdrake （創世紀 30:14-16）
Mandrake 是一種什麽植物，有讓人懷孕的能力嗎？
Mandrake, 思高聖經譯成蔓陀羅，基督教聖經譯作風茄，其根部外型類似人的樣子。長期用於巫術儀式，包括今天的威卡教。其根部分叉並長出地表一個褶皺、易碎的卵圓形物，葉為鋸齒狀，6到16英寸長，類似煙草。春天從頸部伸出許多下垂的花梗，開淡綠色花，將近2英寸寬，果實為球形、多汁的橙色或紅色漿果，類似小型的番茄，次年春天成熟。風茄的每一部分都有毒性。它的原產地是歐洲南部和中部、地中海周圍地區，以及科西嘉島。
它被阿拉伯人稱為luffâh或beid el-jinn（“妖魔的蛋”）。在小說《哈利·波特與密室》中被稱為魔蘋果。
風茄的根呈人形，人們傳說它是個具有靈性的活物，若把它從土裏采出，就像把人從家裏搶走一樣。因此風茄被拔出時會發出一種劇烈的慘叫聲，慘叫聲會令采集者精神失常甚至喪命。采集風茄有一種特殊的方法，需要獵號、長繩、饑餓的狗和一塊肉。據說風茄隻生長在絞刑架下，靠死屍滴下的脂油或血液灌溉成長。因此在月圓之夜，魔法師會用繩子將草牢牢套住，繩子的另一端綁在狗的項圈上，然後魔法師退到安全的地方把肉扔出，狗因饑餓而迅速撲向肉，連著的繩子就會把草從土裏拉出來。因此，魔法師要大聲吹號蓋過草的慘叫。狗聽到慘叫聲立即斃命，而魔法師則順利地獲得了完整的風茄。 （以上摘自維基百科）
Rachel 看到Leah的大兒子摘了這個，就要，甚至情願讓雅各當晚跟Leah同房。由此可見，兩姐妹在爭寵上是激烈的，由於雅各更愛Rachel一些，可能天天晚上她到霸占著雅各的，所以這一晚，雅各被Rachel用來交換蔓陀羅了。Leah因此又生了兩兒一女。
也不知是蔓陀羅的作用還是天主的憐憫，Rachel最後生了一個兒子Joseph。
