己酉端午 — （元代）貝瓊

 

風雨端陽生晦冥，汨羅無處吊英靈。
海榴花發應相笑，無酒淵明亦獨醒。

 

Dragon Boat Festival by Bei Qiong (Yuan Dynasty)

 

The Dragon-Boat Day is cloaked in wind and rain,

Along Miluo, no race-boats, nor mourning refrain.

Aglow, the pomegranates wear their teasing grins:

“Tao, without wine, still bows to Qu in sober pain.”
