豈曰無衣？                 

與子同袍。                 

王於興師，                 

修我戈矛，                 

與子同仇！ 

 

Who said I'd have coat not?

I’ll dight the same you’ve got.

Sith my prince wants to war,

I’ll hone my sword and spear.

With thee hie to th’ frontier!

                                  

豈曰無衣？                 

與子同澤。

王於興師，                 

修我矛戟，                 

與子偕作！ 

 

Who said I'd have vest not?

I’ll don the same you’ve got.

Sith my prince wants to war,

I’ll whet my spear ‘n’ halberd.

With thee let’s march forward!

 

豈曰無衣？                 

與子同裳。                 

王於興師，                 

修我甲兵，                 

與子偕行！  

           

Who said I'd have garb not?

I’ll wear the same you’ve got.

Sith my prince wants to war,

I’ll fix up my war-gear.

With thee let's charge sans fear!

袍：長衣服的統稱。

澤：裏衣。

戟（己）：長一丈六尺，鑲有分枝的鋒刃。

甲：鎧甲。兵：兵器。
