鐘山即事 - 王安石

澗水無聲繞竹流，竹西花草弄春柔。
茅簷相對坐終日，一鳥不鳴山更幽。

(Inspirations from Mt. Zhongshan)

 

Around the bamboo grove silent winding streams flow,

In the grove’s west, grass, flowers, soft spring torsos show.

Tete-a-tete I sit neath the thatched roof all day long,

The hill would peer serener sans a bird to crow.
