眼兒媚 - 王雱

 

楊柳絲絲弄輕柔，

煙縷織成愁。

海棠未雨，

梨花先雪，

一半春休。

 

而今往事難重省，

歸夢繞秦樓。

相思隻在：

丁香枝上，

豆蔻梢頭。

The slender silky willows lithely pose,

Weaving smoke into vernal woes.

When crab-apples crave drizzles,

Pear trees have put on snowy crowns,

Spring hath half done her shows. 

 

Bygones indelible, though ne’er return,

Around your bower my dream goes.

My ever-love will linger on

And on the cardamom branches,  

Atop the cloves it will repose.
