Findings
Renal and Pelvic Ultrasound
The right and left kidney measure 9.0 cm in length and there is moderate parenchymal thinning of the kidneys bilaterally. No hydronephrosis is seen. There is some increased renal echogenicity in keeping with non-specific renal parenchymal disease.
There is a nodule in the left adrenal, it has not changed since the previous examination measuring 2.8 X 2.5 X approximately 2.0 cm in length.
Impression
There has been no significant change since the previous examination.
Labelling of the transverse image aids understanding of relational anatomy with an abnormal mass.
The sagittal plane of the left adrenal clearly demonstrates the enlarged gland posterior to the spleen.
Documentation of flow helps to identify feeder vessels and confirms a solid mass.
