His manager deliberately built negative cases againest him. This is the major issue that EVERY Chinese has to concern about. I don't think it is a good reputation for Chinese that a manager can do whatever he wants for Chinese worker. This is the real root cause where CoolVoice's misfortune came from.
The legal battle costs company a lot and sends a clear message to the management if they don't want the company to spend $100k in the court they should do something more reasonable. This is the real positive consequency that I can see.
If we let CoolVoice down, we laughed at CoolVoice and said how stupid CoolVoice you are, we are hopeless. And next time, any manager can just give a Chinese worker below-everage evaluation without worrying about anything. Isn't bad? Maybe you don't care!
