秋夜寄邱員外 – 韋應物

 

懷君屬秋夜，散步詠涼天。

空山鬆子落，幽人應未眠。

 

Thinking of Courtier Yuan on Autumn Night

 

My mind is full of thee on this fall night,

As I roam and hum under the cold skies.

The still alps listen to pinecones alight,

O, hermit must be eke awake sans surprise.
