今天我讓ChatGPT幫我把前20名對世界文明有正麵影響力書籍整理成中英文對照列表。 ChatGPT還給每本書附了一句對文明的正麵影響說明。
 
我看了一下，發現20本書中，我囫圇吞棗地讀過的有四本：《聖經》、《道德經》、日本的《源氏物語》和羅馬皇帝的《沉思錄》。沒想到《源氏物語》上了榜。可能是因為這本書據說是世界最早的小說的緣故吧，比《紅樓夢》早了快八百年。我家裏有一套，我讀過一遍。我小時候讀過《紅樓夢》。我覺得《源氏物語》裏的源公子和賈寶玉有點異曲同工之處，但《源氏物語》要比《紅樓夢》唯美浪漫多一點。《紅樓夢》筆下的社會充滿爾虞我詐的戾氣。雖然《源氏物語》也有一些有違倫理的情節。
 
《聖經》名列榜首，作為有史以來最暢銷的經典，也是世界上傳播最廣的宗教的聖典，應該是當之無愧的。我最近在和我表姐帶班的BSF上讀第二遍聖經，剛剛讀完《但以理書》，才發現《聖經》裏有不少被後世驗證過的先知預言。但以理書裏就有好多，看得我震撼無比。我那天寫出來分享一下吧。
 
《道德經》很短，很玄妙，但比起《聖經》來，還是太輕薄了一點，可以說是不可同日而語的。這樣說應該是沒有什麽問題吧。但我覺得《道德經》要比《沉思錄》更凝練智慧一層。而《沉思錄》要比《論語》更純粹。
 
這二十本書裏，我略微讀過，但沒有讀完的有三本：《論語》，《堂吉訶德》和《莎士比亞》。《論語》我知之甚少，不夠格對其評頭論足，而且剛剛我也是略品了一下，現在就不多說了。《堂吉訶德》我也說不出個所以然，但其語言文字表達的華麗程度真是到了登峰造極之極致，隻是太繁長了點，我常常讀得昏昏欲睡，最後就作罷了，我家裏有一本，我一直沒有勇氣繼續讀完它。《莎士比亞》我沒讀過古英文的劇本版，雖然我也收藏了幾本，但我不敢讀。我小時候讀的是中文版的《莎士比亞故事集》，那時真是愛不釋手。上小學的我，品味也還不錯吧。可惜那本書我回家後找不到了。
 
《古蘭經》上榜，而且還是第二名，多少讓我有點吃驚。我有點猶豫是不是也讀一遍。我家裏有英文的《荷馬史詩》和《神曲》也許明年翻翻看看。
 
哲學和佛學的幾本書也可以讀讀看，科學的書或許就略過不讀了吧。
 
對了，我第一次問ChatGPT對世界文明影響最大的書，他還提到了《共產主義宣言》。但當我追問他隻選正麵影響書籍後，《共產主義宣言》就落選了。小紅寶書就根本沒有上榜。
 
要讀的好書太多，時間太少啊。。。
