1943 year. A small Soviet subversive group will have to fulfill a complex and responsible task - to seize documents with the latest directives of Hitler, who are bringing to General Shherner the personal assistant of Adjutant Hitler, Major Dunst. In addition to experienced scouts, four girls - snipers, graduates of the school of snipers, and a well-aimed shooter, Private Kononov, nicknamed Tungus - a hunter who can excel in orienting himself in the forest, must take part in the operation. After a brief preparation, the detachment is sent for the front line, to the rear of the enemy. In carrying out the task, the sniper girls are captured by General Sherner, who arranges a real hunt for them.

      Even though I did not understand a word of the dialogue, I thought it an excellent film with great direction, great actors, and great costumes. It kept me riveted the whole way. Nobody does this genre better, or understands it better than the Russians who paid such a terrible price in blood to defeat the Nazi scourge.
