我本想明年送寶寶到一half day prechool去，可聽見幾位媽媽都說那裏的老師太嚴厲了。後來我真不放心就問了一位媽媽，她倆個孩子都在那上課。她說那老師脾氣不太好，時常聽見她大聲叫，可是孩子在那真學會很多東西。最另我吃驚的是她聽過其他家長說那老師打孩子，打那裏我就不知道了，可能是屁股或手心吧。
我很奇怪：preschool老師可以打孩子嗎？？大家孩子上的preschool都是這樣的嗎？

Some elementary schools will insist to maintain that they have the right to corporal punishment--that'll be excuted by the principal with a witness, not an ordinary teacher, and they would have to notify parents about their "disciplining" afterwards.
Corporal punishment can easily become child abuse which is a crime. That's why schools nowadays use it rarely, and none to preschoolers.
