ZT Mike’s comments: The lamb was sacrificed as a substitute the Hebrews first-born sons. The blood of the lamb was placed on the doorposts as a sign that the household had sacrificed an innocent life - the lamb. By the blood of the unblemished/perfect lamb, the household was protected from death. This is a foreshadowing of Jesus’ ministry.

20: 26-28: Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be your slave— just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.
Jesus told us that we have to be humble and we will get rewarded. Jesus is the son of God but he was/is willing to serve and sacrifice his life. Very impressive……
Psalms: 25:8-10
Good and upright is the LORD;
therefore he instructs sinners in his ways.
He guides the humble in what is right
and teaches them his way.
All the ways of the LORD are loving and faithful
for those who keep the demands of his covenant.
Proverbs: It seems that today’s reading is for me. I am too lazy……. Feel shamed when I think about the ants. Tiny and vulnerable but never give up.
